Praised for her expressive tone and virtuosity, Pauline Kim has performed as a soloist with the Korean Philharmonic and the Barbad Chamber Orchestra, and at the Aspen Music Festival, the Ravinia Festival on the Rising Stars Series, the Banff Centre in Canada, and her performances have been featured on PBS. Ms. Kim was one of the last students of Jascha Heifetz, and studied at the Juilliard School with Dorothy DeLay and Cho Liang Lin.

Mioi Takeda has performed throughout North America, Europe and Asia in solo recitals and as a chamber musician. She has performed in major venues, including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, and her solo performances have been broadcast on WNCN. In the US, she has studied with Dorothy DeLay and Masao Kawasaki, and has received her Doctorate of Musical Art under the guidance of Itzhak Perlman.


A former violist with the Arditti Quartet, Dov Scheindlin has appeared as soloist with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam, the Radio Symphony Orchestra of Berlin, the Paris Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and the Munich Philharmonic. Mr. Scheindlin has recorded extensively for EMI, Teldec, Auvidis, Col Legno, and Mode, and won the Gramophone Award in 2002 for the recording of Sir Harrison Birtwistle’s Pulse Shadows. As a member of the Arditti Quartet, he gave nearly 100 world premières, among them new works by Elliott Carter, Gyorgy Kurtag, and Wolfgang Rihm.

Mairi Dorman’s recent appearances have included the Elgar, Dvorak, and Saint-Saëns cello concertos with orchestras in Colorado and South Dakota. Other appearances have been at the Ravinia Festival in Chicago, Rudolfinum Hall in Prague, and Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall. A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music in London, she is currently completing her doctoral studies in New York.
